You may be wondering, “What does ‘Sojourn’ mean? And what does it have to do with photography?”
The Oxford Dictionary of English describes the act of sojourning as “to stay somewhere temporarily.” In a previous life, I worked in broadcast television in Virginia. I was afforded the privilege to travel for work, including the United States (all 50 states), and several countries (35 at last count). I was able to see incredible sights, record fantastic images, and meet many unique and fascinating people. In a sense we’re all sojourners, making our way through this life and endeavoring to make a difference.

After a brief sojourn in Idaho, we (myself, my wife, and our two sons) now make our home in Greenville, SC. My family and I love the beauty of the hills and mountains, the many trails and parks to explore, and the welcoming people. Greenville, I suspect, is becoming a bit of a “melting pot” of diverse tastes, styles, and culture. This inspires creativity and instills a desire to engage, whether culturally or out in nature.

I’ve now transitioned into real estate photography, videography, and drone here in the Greenville/Spartanburg area. I thoroughly enjoy creating images of homes and of the surrounding beauty of the Upstate (where I’m actually just recording what God created with His palette), searching out a story with every project.

My desire is to give YOU the best product available, with top-notch, courteous, professional, and timely customer service. I hope the images I create inform, educate, and inspire. I hope you, as a client and viewer, come away enriched.
